Who Am I ?
Business and technology are the two fields that I chose to pursue quite early in my life. I have always been passionate about dealing with complex business problems and simplifying technical crossroads.
My approach is first to understand the business challenges and then strategize the technical roadmap to overcome those challenges. I love moving them towards growth by implementing and monitoring the technical solutions. With step-by-step planning and execution, I help to build the business. The aim and the result are to maximize profit, save time, optimize processes, and lay the foundation for innovation for these businesses.
The secret why I can do so ? Is that I advise what I know and have learned personally through 20+ years of tech and business experience and helped many companies to grow using technology.
IT,Genes, Motivation and Challenges
That Drives Me
For as long as I can remember, I have always had the entrepreneur genes in me, and I knew one day I would be running my own company. The motivation probably came because my dad was a businessman, and although I could see the hard work he put in, he was his own boss and provided for his employees.
I forayed into entrepreneurship after being in the corporate world for about ten years. I co-founded a Healthcare SaaS solution company, Betty24, with one of my close friends.
A few years later, I founded Desuvit – a software development company in Olso, Norway, with an offshore development center in India. We had been serving clients in Scandinavia, Germany, UK and India since 2014.
Desuvit and I aim to provide advisory, guidance, and implementation of SaaS solutions, Mobile, Web apps, and Digitization.
What Time and Experience Has Taught Me that I use to help my clients
Working on developing the Betty24 SaaS solution taught me many things about SaaS development.
- The importance of MVP development to going to market
- Handling & working with remote teams. With Covid, remote teams are becoming normal now, but in 2010 it was not so. My team was located in three countries – Norway, Germany, and India. We found ways to work together and deliver.
- The importance of the API first approach to building better future proof systems, that are maintainable and scalable.
- Understanding the importance of cloud migration, scalability, and availability
- The importance of UX and customer-friendly experience
- The importance of integrations with other systems. One does not need to build everything, but instead, sometimes it is better to integrate with other systems that complement.
- And above all, how to build systems that serve the needs of real customers and address real problems.
